TEMPO.CO, Jakarta Thomas Tuchel announced his England squad for the 2026 World Cup on Friday morning at Wembley Stadium, London, according to The Independent.

Winning all eight games without missing a goal, England secured their place at next summer’s World Cup after dominating Group K in UEFA.

The German coach said he aims to build a balanced 26-man squad with clear roles, two players per position, three goalkeepers, and versatile backups.

He sees a midfield with a No 6, No 8, and No 10, with each player clearly understanding their role in the team.

Although Tuchel has brought clarity, questions remain over the full-back roles, the makeup of the midfield, and which wingers and No 10s will make the cut from the crowded pool of options.

However, some big names such as Phil Foden, Cole Palmer, and Harry Maguire will not be included in the squad. Maguire confirmed on Thursday that he has been omitted from Tuchel’s selection. Following a difficult season at Manchester City, Palmer and Foden will also miss out.

Below are the names predicted to make up the England squad for the 2026 World Cup in June, according to The Guardian.

Goalkeepers: Jordan Pickford, Dean Henderson, James Trafford.

Defenders: Reece James, Tino Livramento, John Stones, Marc Guehi, Ezri Konsa, Dan Burn, Jarell Quansah, Myles Lewis-Skelly, Nico O’Reilly.

Midfielders: Elliot Anderson, Jordan Henderson, Declan Rice, Kobbie Mainoo.

Forwards: Bukayo Saka, Noni Madueke, Eberechi Eze, Jude Bellingham, Morgan Rogers, Anthony Gordon, Marcus Rashford.

Strikers: Harry Kane, Ollie Watkins, Ivan Toney.
