According to Car News China , the upgraded version of the Lynk & Co 02 will officially enter the Chinese market in the third quarter of this year. In its home country, the car is sold under the name Lynk & Co 20, built on an 800V electric architecture, features 6C fast charging, and is equipped with a LiDAR sensor-based driver assistance system.
This model first debuted in the Chinese market in December 2024 under the name Lynk & Co Z20. Data collected by China EV DataTracker shows that cumulative sales of the vehicle have reached 47,723 units in the domestic market to date.
Through the social media platform Weibo , Executive Vice President of Business Zhou Xin confirmed that the upgraded version of the Lynk & Co 02 will be launched in the third quarter.
With the optional LiDAR sensor on the roof, the electric SUV is likely to be equipped with the G-ASD G-Pilot H5 or H7 driver assistance system. The G-Pilot H5 uses dual Nvidia Drive Orin chips for computing performance reaching 508 TOPS. The more advanced G-Pilot H7 system will come with a single Nvidia Thor AGX processor, providing a maximum computing performance of 700 TOPS.
The G-ASD G-Pilot H7 system supports Navigate on Autopilot (NOA) autonomous driving on both city and highway roads. D2D parking is also a notable feature, allowing the vehicle to automatically navigate through levels and roundabouts in underground parking lots, or automatically identify highway toll booths and parking lot gates.

The new Lynk & Co 02 also features subtle exterior modifications, including redesigned front and rear bumpers and a sporty rear spoiler.
The vehicle's dimensions are 4,495 x 1,845 x 1,573 mm (length x width x height), with a wheelbase of 2,755 mm. The electric SUV is equipped with a single motor on the rear axle, producing approximately 329 horsepower. This electric motor is powered by an LFP battery pack; however, the exact capacity has not been announced.
Current Lynk & Co Z20/02 models in China offer two battery capacity options: 51.2 kWh and 61.47 kWh.
The all-electric SUV also comes in two versions with two power outputs of 235 horsepower and 335 horsepower respectively. Currently, the Lynk & Co Z20/02 in China is priced between 109,900 and 150,900 RMB, equivalent to $16,190 to $22,230 USD .
Car News China suggests that, following its launch in China, the upgraded version of the Lynk & Co 02 will likely soon be introduced to customers in international markets.
According to Tri Thức - Znews ' research, the Lynk & Co 02 will be the first all-electric model from this Chinese automotive brand in the Vietnamese market. The version launched for Vietnamese customers is expected to use a 66 kWh battery pack, allowing for a maximum driving range of 435 km per full charge, as stated in the WLTP cycle.
