Accordingly, in July, the specialized staff of the sub-department will focus on guiding the implementation, exchanging information on supporting documents and methods for self-assessment of results for the relevant criteria in the National Criteria Set for New Rural Communes, including: Criterion 3.2: Concentrated raw material areas for the commune's key crops and livestock that are certified for quality, linked to processing and product consumption; Criterion 3.3: Having effective high-tech agricultural models or green economic models or circular economic models; Criterion 8.2: The percentage of livestock waste, organic waste, and agricultural by-products collected, processed, and recycled into products, raw materials, fuel, and fertilizers.

The Provincial Department of Crop Production and Plant Protection requests that the People's Committees of the communes review and identify difficulties and obstacles arising during the implementation of the New Rural Development program before the training sessions, so that the specialized agencies can research and prepare appropriate solutions. After the training sessions, the specialized departments and the Crop Production and Plant Protection Stations in the localities will continue to maintain close coordination and support for the communes during the implementation process. For any problems that arise beyond their authority, the department will compile them and advise the leaders of the Provincial Department of Agriculture and Environment to consider and direct the resolution.

The training session will be organized for 41 out of 48 communes participating in the New Rural Development program. For the 7 communes: Tan Dinh, Dien Khanh, Dien Lac, Dien Dien, Cam Lam, Van Ninh, and Ninh Phuoc, which are slated to develop into wards, the program to build communes meeting New Rural Development or Modern Rural Development standards in the 2026-2030 period is not planned.

This activity aims to promptly address difficulties and obstacles at the grassroots level, while standardizing methods for reviewing, evaluating, and preparing supporting documents for the 2026-2030 period. Simultaneously, it provides a basis for localities to proactively resolve bottlenecks, accelerate progress, and improve the quality of implementing targets in the fields of crop production and plant protection.
