Driven by Ayhancan Güven, the car completed the 20.832-kilometer circuit in 6:50.863. This is 4.874 seconds faster than the lap time set by the previous-generation GT3 with the Manthey Kit. The run was completed under improved track conditions and was officially recorded in the presence of a notary.
The vehicle used for the lap was fitted with optional Michelin Pilot Sport Cup 2 R tires.
The Manthey Kit for the 911 GT3 is available through Porsche Centers worldwide, with the factory warranty remaining unchanged.
Christoph Breuer, Director Road Cars at Manthey Racing GmbH, said the improved lap time reflects continued development work and close collaboration with Porsche. He added that being nearly five seconds faster than its predecessor highlights the effectiveness of the upgrades.
Güven, a Porsche works driver and reigning DTM champion, said the lap demonstrated the car’s full potential on the Nordschleife. He noted that the GT3 with the Manthey Kit delivers performance comparable to that of the “Grello,” Manthey’s well-known race car, indicating how closely road cars and track-focused upgrades have evolved.
